High DPC latency in new laptop causing stutters in games without 100% usage. Ryzen 9 7940hs Rtx 4070 16gb ram. Also used DDU for gpu drivers but no help. Everything is up to date.

Power settings

• Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Change Plan Settings > Change Advanced Power Settings.

• Disable Processor Power Management and set Maximum Processor State to 100%.

Update BIOS:

• Visit HP's support website and search for your laptop model.

• Check if a newer BIOS version is available and update it.

Update All Drivers:

• Ensure that all device drivers are up to date, including NVIDIA and AMD drivers.

• Use HP Support Assistant to check for any pending updates.

Check for Background Processes:

• Disable unnecessary programs running in the background that might be consuming system resources.

Test with Different GPU Driver Versions:

• Try rolling back to an earlier NVIDIA driver if you're using the latest one.
