No. I would advise against deleting the "Realtek card reader" and "Realtek ethernet controller device". Deleting those two programs would have no effect on the audio.
The Realtek ethernet controller is the software driver for th Realtek ethernet cards. It is a program used to communicate from the Windows PC OS to the device. This software is required in most cases for the hardware device to function properly.
A Realtek USB card reader allows you to read digital camera media cards via a USB port on your computer, and transfer image files or other data between the card and computer.

The sound icon in the toolbar has a red x next to it and when hovered over, it states No Audio Output Device is Installed. If I right click, it says Speaker Setup UNKNOWN - Off. If I troubleshoot, it has no solutions. If I bring up the sound properties, no playback or recording options are available, only 'no audio devices are installed.'
Figuring it was a driver issue, I went into device manager and the Intel High Definition Audio driver has a yellow exclamation triagle next to it, if an update is attempted, I am met with 'Unable to install.' If I uninstall it and refresh hardware changes, it just reappears even though I uninstalled it. However, I did uninstall and reinstall in an attempt to fix it, restarted my laptop, but nothing changed. The driver was downloaded from the HP website for my laptop. I've ran various troubleshooting devices from the website as well.
I'm at a loss with ideas on how to get my sound restored. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
