HP OMEN 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dears,

I have the HP OMEN 17 gaming notebook. Everything is just fine but there is no "silent mode' in gaming hub. It means that fans are quite loud all the time even though temps are nice and around 40C. For sure there is space for having temps higher and fans quiter, wich would be very useful for working, internet surfing etc.

Any idea if HP is aware of the problem and working on update? There is "comfort" mode but it makes fans to go even louder because priority is to keep temps very low all the time.

Best,

Michal

P.S. Spec are rtx2060, i7 10750, bios etc. updated via hp soft

"@Frykun  did you mean Comfort Mode?

What is the full product number of your Omen?

Press Control/Alt/S for the information menu in windows
Or
Go to the Start menu and scroll to H/HP Help and Support/HP Support Assistant.
Open the program and click on your computer in the list.
The 7 digit Product Number will be listed in both those places.

Yes, I meant the "Comfort Mode". I would expect it to provide low noise, low fan speed and low performance abut instead I get very low temp and high fan noise.

The product number is 277U1EA#AKD,

Thanks to HP for reply.

Regards,

Michal
