I wanted to temporarily switch to the integrated graphics card that comes with intel i7-10750h but I cant find the option anywhere. No graphics switcher in Omen Gaming Hub nor in bios. In device manager, under display adapters it only shows nvidia gtx 1660ti. How can I switch from discrete to integrated GPU?

Hi @dynamicteen123,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To switch from the discrete NVIDIA GPU to the integrated Intel GPU on your OMEN Laptop (15-dh1070wm), you can try the following steps:
1. Check BIOS Settings
- Access BIOS: Restart your laptop and repeatedly press F10 during startup to enter the BIOS setup.
- Graphics Configuration: Look for a section related to graphics or video settings. Sometimes, the option to switch between integrated and discrete graphics is found here. If it’s not there, continue to the next steps.
2. Use Windows Graphics Settings
Windows 10 and 11 allow you to choose which GPU to use for specific applications:
- Open Settings: Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
- System: Click on System, then Display.
- Graphics Settings: Scroll down and click on Graphics settings.
- Choose an App: You can select either Desktop app or Microsoft Store app, then browse and add the application you want to set to use the integrated graphics.
- Options: After adding the app, click on it, select Options, and choose Power Saving to set it to use the integrated GPU.
3. Device Manager
- If the integrated GPU doesn’t show up in Device Manager:
- Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Display adapters section.
- If only the NVIDIA GPU is listed, it could mean the integrated GPU is disabled in BIOS or there may be driver issues.
4. Install or Update Intel Graphics Drivers
- Visit the Intel website to download and install the latest drivers for your Intel HD Graphics.
- After installation, reboot your laptop and check if the integrated GPU appears in Device Manager.
5. NVIDIA Control Panel
- Open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting it.
- Go to Manage 3D settings and look for the Preferred graphics processor option. You can set it to the integrated graphics for specific applications.
6. Check for Windows Updates
- Make sure your Windows is up to date, as updates can sometimes include fixes for driver issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hello @Rachel571 . I have tried everything listed above. There are very limited options in the bios and it does not contain any display options r anything close to it. The only thing I had left to try was the windows graphics settings but it lists both power saver and high performance as GTX 1660ti.
I even tried to install the drivers but without the device being there it kept giving errors.
