OMEN by HP - 17-an110na
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

The laptop doesn't supply enough power to run when plugged in so it slowly discharges the battery,

The Battery  doesn't stay charged while plugged in and using the laptop

Battery will slowly recover charge when Laptop not in use

@ChrisBrann,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your OMEN by HP - 17-an110na (4AN73EA), according to: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06001792.pdf, came with one of three AC adapters (chargers), 135, 150, or 230-watt. My thinking is that perhaps upgrading your charger would solve your problem:

Here is a 230-watt purchase example via Amazon-Great Britain: Delippo 230W Laptop power supply 19.5V 11.8A for HP men 17-ap000 17-AN013na 17-w109ng EliteBook 8740....

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
