July 5, I bought this laptop. Installed the Windows 10 operating system, several games and programs. Also updated the driver. Everything was fine.
Then in the evening of the next day, while surfing the Internet, laptop performance decreased markedly. I checked in the task manager and found that out of 8 GB of RAM, only 5.9 GB is used. It is unclear whether this caused a decrease in performance, but I already tried other methods: reinstalled Windows, checked the system for viruses, updated the BIOS, but the problem still remained.
I don’t already know what to do with this, I hope you will help me solve this problem. Thank.

@BredWud , welcome to the forum.
Here is a document that will explain the difference in the memory: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06526774
I don't believe that this has anything to do with the decrease in performance. I suggest that you install and use HP Diagnostics to see if it helps solve your problem: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/pc-diags.html
Also, you can run Diagnostics from the BIOS without having Win 10 involved. This will eliminate any problems that could be caused by Windows.

But the problem is that I performed various diagnostics both in the BIOS and in a special HP application. The problem remained that's why I came here.
If my version of the BIOS had an Advanced tab, then the problem would seem to be solved, but the newest version of the BIOS (F. 05) does not have this tab.
Do you have any other ideas how to help me with this problem?

@BredWud, I wasn't aware that you had already run HP Diagnostics. You didn't say that in your post. Here is a guide that may help you solve your problem: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-gaming-15-ec0000-laptop-pc-series/29322788/model/32...
