OMEN Button not working

Hi there,

So on my laptop, the OMEN Gaming Hub button on the Keyboard is not launching the app. Every time I restart my system I do receive a notification above the calendar regarding "Install HP Event Utility" but every time I click to install the notification just disappears and nothing happens. Also, in the Windows Store, the app called HP System Information is giving me an error each time I try installing it.

I also tried this solution: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Software-and-How-To-Questions/HP-System-Information-Store-App...     Please help me out, I just want to make the OMEN button work.

Hi@Nemesis69420, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

You have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to checked taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.

 

I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
