Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Everytime I boot the HP Omen Command center it states
"Welcome to OMEN Command Center. There is an update avilable that requres HP Support Assistant. Download it to continue."
If I click the download button it takes me to

https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

Attempting to download and install the HP support assistant gives me the following message:
"A newer version of HP Support Assistant is installed. Setup will now close."

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Thanks,
Jerad2142

Sometimes when a new version of software is installed it takes awhile for it to find updates.  If there are updates to be installed they will show up sooner or later.

@Jerad2142 , welcome to the forum.

I had the same problem for several days.  When I tried to open OCC I got the same messages.  So, I used the option that allowed me to open it without the update and eventually the messages stopped.  I couldn't find any other solution.  I will call this problem to the attention of the proper people with in HP.

Here is how I finally solved my problem:

I downloaded OCC from Windows Store.  Everything worked except the Overclocking tab.  So, I uninstalled HPSA and OCC.  I downloaded HPSA from the link that OCC provided and installed it.  Then, I went to the Software and Drivers Download page for my Omen Loaner and installed OCC.  Both are now working without OCC wanting me to install HPSA.  When I try to update OCC I am told that I have the latest version; which I do.

I tried the download form the windows store but the only tab I get on that version is the streaming tab, so I ran back out and redownloaded the original command center from:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/omen-by-hp-17-an000-laptop-pc/15551440/sw...

Now it seems to at least detect the Support Assistant and bring it up but there are no updates available on it.
