Product: OMEN HP
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My OMEN HP Laptop's audio has stopped working all of a sudden, I hit it lightly because it was freezing up for some reason then it decides to switch off the audio. I have tried re-installing the disk many times, but on every time it wouldn't work. When I boot up my laptop for the first 5 minutes audio is fine then it turns off and begins chopping up and not playing sound at all

@epicgame321413 , welcome to the forum.

 

You should update the Audio driver to see if that solves your problem.  If not, try going into the Device Manager and right click on the Audio driver and select Uninstall.  Then, reinstall the driver.

@epicgame321413, thank you for the additional information.

 

This is most likely your problem.  The driver should be in the section "Audio inputs and outputs".  If you will provide the full model of your computer I will help you find the correct Audio driver to install.
