Hi, 

Can anyone confirm that OMEN 17-cb0002na has fully desktop rtx 2080 and G-Sync ?

I just asked an hp engineer about this issue. He confirmed your model does have a gsync panel after all. The hp manual changed the wording and makes it confusing. All the cb0000 17 inch series with an rtx 2070 or 2080 has the 144Hz gsync panel now.

 You should be fine with that model.
