OMEN by HP - 15-dc0004nq
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone!

I'm having a bit of a problem with my Omen 15-dc0004nq (4KH34EA#AKE) and I can't tell if it's software or hardware related. Up until today both my speakers (Bang&Olufsen) worked. I believe properly. At some point whilst in the middle of a YT video I heard some fine crackles but I'm not positive if they came from the right speaker.

After that no right speaker sound. I'm using Winamp (old school I know) and if I set the balance to the right, I get diminished sound from the left speaker but nothing from the right. The bass also seems to have… disappeared. I have no more bass.

I've reinstalled all the latest drivers for my Omen (there are three versions) and nothing. I am currently running on version 6.0.1.8454.  I've also tried the original driver provided by Windows 10 Pro N (x64), build 17763 but still nothing. I have the latest BIOS (F.07). I did a System Diagnosis (F2 key etc) and I can hear the sounds but only on the left side.

Is there anything else I can try or should I just send it in? And BTW, I never had Bang and Olufsen app / media control, it never showed up in my notification area. But when reinstalling different versions of drivers today, at some time it popped up. Now I’s no longer there. I would like to access that app / control options for my B&O speakers. How can I get that?
