Hello,
Thank you HP Forum for marking and deleting my previous post here in the forum + making me lose time writing for a second time my issue with my 2 year old HP Omen 17". You do this again and I will make the time to post this to every single forum and social networks, besides the fact that I will not touch again an HP with a barge pole.
The hinges had problems since day 1 had, but I had other laptops before and trusted that this expensive laptop would not come to the stage it has now. The PLASTIC CASE IS CRACKED from the right hinge and reaching the ROFTL Bang and Ol speaker. I see thousands of posts here due to the same problems DEFECTIVE HINGES. You knew this and you did not recall the laptops, you chose to continue to sell them.
You can see by the photos what is happening and confirm with the side pic that there is no crack on the side, ALL THE PRESSURE IS BEING DONE BY THE HINGES.
Anyone who had this problem, how did you solve it?????
HP how do I solve this? This is a work laptop

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
