My warranty is expired so I cannot seem to connect with an agent so I will just post here. My Keyboard is dying and I need it replaced. How much does it cost so I know if I can do it now or wait until these current events calm down. I know it is dying because the 'A' key keeps popping off, and the 'D' key no longer submits an input when pressed. It takes about 150 pushes of the 'D' key to actually write anything. It is not a dirty issue because I have thoroughly cleaned the keyboard and the issue persists.
Thanks.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
After reading your post, I did go through the Maintenance and Service Guides of your product and found that you have Full-size backlit 3-coat paint with numeric keypad in Shadow Black installed on the PC.
- Here is the part number: 940605-001 and it's a universal part you can purchase one from an online shopping store.
And, also I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
