I've been having the Omen by HP 600 Gaming Mouse for quite a while now. but now the mouse is not working. i have the 2017 version of the HP Omen Gaming Laptop. the laptop will not show that the mouse is plugged in. sometimes it will turn back on but it will admeditatly turn back off. i would really really really really like to know how i can fix this issue. i have already tried restarting my computer and it didnt work.

@Antwon

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Riddle_Decipher is at your service (Like a Genie, however, without magic powers) 😉

If you've not checked with an alternate mouse yet, I recommend you do, to confirm if this is either a hardware or a software issue,

That said, if the alternate mouse doesn't work either, you may want to reinstall the USB root hubs within the device manager and check if it works,

And if the alternate mouse works and yet the HP 600 doesn't, I suggest you install the latest drivers for your device: Click here to download and install it.

Let me know how that pans out

I will have a colleague follow-up on this to ensure it's taken care off,

as I need to know if the issue has been resolved, to get proper sleep at night.

feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon,

followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution' as it would help the community gain more knowledge, and have a great day Ahead!
