Hello, I have the following problem with the HP Omen gaming hub application: my undervolting profile is not loaded automatically if my laptop is turned off and powered on after that, And my undervolting profile is not connected to my active profile at all. I want to load the undervolting profile each time I powered on my laptop, The Omen Gaming hub application is present in startup apps with enabled status and all HP services are in running state after my system restart. The system is Windows 11 24h2, but the problem was present in previous OS version (23h2).
The undervolting profile is loaded time to time after applying it using the Gaming hub application and restarting the system, but not always. The profile contains -0.03 V only, so it is not automatically reset by the service.

Hi @Victor2050,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems that the issue you're experiencing with the HP Omen Gaming Hub application not automatically loading your undervolting profile could be due to a few reasons, including app initialization timing, permissions, or conflicts with system settings. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially fix the issue.
Check for the Latest Version of Omen Gaming Hub:
- Ensure that you have the latest version of the Omen Gaming Hub installed. HP frequently releases updates to fix bugs, and it might resolve issues like this. Check for updates within the app or through the Microsoft Store.
Reinstall Omen Gaming Hub:
- Sometimes, a fresh installation can resolve unexpected issues. Uninstall the Omen Gaming Hub, restart your laptop, and reinstall the application from the official HP website or Microsoft Store.
Run the Gaming Hub as Administrator:
- Try running the Omen Gaming Hub with elevated permissions. Right-click on the Omen Gaming Hub shortcut and select Run as Administrator. This can sometimes solve permission-related issues that prevent settings from being applied at startup.
Adjust Power Settings:
- Ensure that your laptop's power settings don't interfere with the Gaming Hub's ability to load the undervolting profile. Go to Control Panel > Power Options and check if there are any power-saving features that could be turning off background processes, especially during startup.
Startup Apps Conflict:
- Even though the Gaming Hub is in your startup apps, try disabling other non-essential startup apps to see if there’s a conflict. You can manage startup programs by typing Task Manager in the Windows search bar, going to the Startup tab, and disabling unnecessary apps.
Create a Task in Task Scheduler:
- If the profile doesn't load reliably, you can create a task in Task Scheduler to force the Gaming Hub to load the profile at startup. Here’s how:
- Open Task Scheduler and click on Create Task.
- In the General tab, set the task to run with highest privileges.
- Under the Triggers tab, set a new trigger to start the task At logon.
- Under the Actions tab, create a new action to start the Omen Gaming Hub executable (usually found in C:\Program Files\HP\HP OMEN Gaming Hub\).
- Click OK and ensure the task is set to run at every startup.
Check for BIOS/UEFI Settings:
- Some undervolting profiles are affected by BIOS/UEFI settings, especially if there's a conflict with CPU power settings. Make sure your BIOS is updated, and check for any power settings or CPU-related options that might interfere with undervolting.

Check for Overclocking/Undervolting Software Conflicts:
- If you're using other tools to manage performance or undervolting (e.g., ThrottleStop, Intel XTU), there may be conflicts between them and Omen Gaming Hub. Try disabling or uninstalling those tools temporarily to see if the issue resolves.
By following these steps, you should be able to identify and fix the problem preventing the undervolting profile from loading automatically.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
