Hi @PEN1S_INSPECTOR ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the OMEN Gaming Hub is having issues when it's trying to access certain user-specific settings or configurations upon login.
Here are a few troubleshooting steps that might help resolve the issue:
Update OMEN Gaming Hub: Ensure you have the latest version of the OMEN Gaming Hub installed. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements.
Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, Windows updates can resolve compatibility issues with applications. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
Reinstall OMEN Gaming Hub: Try uninstalling the OMEN Gaming Hub and then reinstalling it. This can sometimes clear up issues caused by corrupted files or settings.
- Uninstall: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find OMEN Gaming Hub, and select Uninstall.
- Reinstall: Download the latest version from the HP website or the Microsoft Store and install it.
Check for Conflicting Software: Some third-party applications or services might conflict with OMEN Gaming Hub. Try performing a clean boot to see if the issue persists.
- Perform a Clean Boot:
- Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.
- Go to the Services tab, check "Hide all Microsoft services", and then click "Disable all".
- Go to the Startup tab and click "Open Task Manager".
- Disable all startup items.
- Restart your computer and see if OMEN Gaming Hub works properly.
Check Event Viewer: The Event Viewer can provide detailed error logs that might give more insight into why the OMEN Gaming Hub is failing. Search for Event Viewer in the Start menu, go to Windows Logs > Application, and look for errors related to OMEN Gaming Hub.
Create a New User Profile: Sometimes, issues are specific to a user profile. Try creating a new user account on your PC and see if OMEN Gaming Hub works correctly when logged in with that account.
- Create a New User Profile:
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users.
- Click "Add someone else to this PC".
- Follow the prompts to create a new account.
- Sign in with the new account and test OMEN Gaming Hub.
