Product: OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop 16-n0000 (5B1T8AV)

There are numerous help requests for this specific issue already all over the internet, including this community. My Omen16-n0013nl with Ryzen 9 CPU and Radeon RX 6550M graphics card arrived yesterday. It keeps abruptly restarting a couple of minutes into playing a game. Temperatures are fine.

There have been no cases where this hasn't happened, the PC is unusable in this state. The event is noted as Kernel-Power ID 41. No further information is provided by Windows. All I have done with this laptop is installing Windows, firmware and driver updates and unsuccessfully trying to play games.

 

Since it must be a known issue to you at HP by now, just please tell me if there's a way to fix this or I'll have to get a refund and buy a different brand.

after a day of trying to find the reason for this i think i've found it: it's omen gaming hub's performance setting. on balanced, i've gotten no restarts. please fix omen gaming hub's settings and make them work with my laptop specs.
