Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 17-cd100 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

laptop only charges while off, it has a light while charging but as soon as I press the power button it turns off. I get no notification that the charger is plugged in and not charging or anything like that. I cannot find any drivers or fixes for windows 11. ive tried running diagnostics, troubleshooters, hard resets, battery reseats, even reseated the charging port cable.

Sounds like the charger is weak (not the right one or faulty ...), what is its part # ? Please use the following ways to fix
