I've a hp omen 15(2019) i5 9300h gtx 1660ti configuration. I have been using this laptop for a year without any problems but recently i had overheating problem. I decided to repaste my laptop with arctic mx-4. after repaste everything was fine but after a week later cpu got 97-98 celcius. I thought its pump-out issue. I tried 3 different paste(kyronaut, zalman stc-8, arctic mx-4) and all of them did same. Then i sent my laptop to hp. Hp repaste my laptop with hp's own thermal paste. I thought problem solved but again one week later cpu gets 97-98 celcius again. I sent my laptop hp again and hp said 97-98 degree is normal. it's not normal i use my laptop for a year and cpu never gets 97-98 degree. how can i solve this problem?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that your computer is Overheating even after HP repair was performed on your HP omen.
I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
- Step 1: Clean the vents and inspect the fans
- Step 2: Increase the efficiency to reduce heat
- Step 3: Make sure there is adequate ventilation
- Step 4: Place the laptop in a cooler room
- Step 5: Use HP software to manage the internal temperature
- Step 6: Change the system performance settings (HP Spectre only)
- Step 7: Update the BIOS
- Step 8: Test for hardware failures
