Hi @Tillu9737
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thanks for sharing the screenshot — I see exactly what you mean: in OMEN Gaming Hub → Performance Control, only Eco / Quiet / Default modes are showing, while the Performance option is missing.
This can happen on some HP Victus 15 models due to a mix of software and hardware limits. Here’s how you can fix it:
Check Power Source
Plug in your original HP 200W adapter (not third-party).
Wait 1–2 minutes → open OMEN Hub again → check if "Performance" returns.
Reset OMEN Gaming Hub
Go to Settings → Apps → OMEN Gaming Hub → Advanced options → Reset.
Restart laptop and check again.
Update Drivers & BIOS
Open HP Support Assistant and install all recommended updates (chipset, BIOS, GPU, firmware, HP SDK).
Specifically update HP System Event Utility and OMEN SDK Package from HP’s website for your model.
Reinstall OMEN Gaming Hub
Uninstall from Windows Store.
Reboot and reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.
NVIDIA Control Panel Check
Sometimes, forcing the RTX 4050 in NVIDIA Control Panel (Manage 3D Settings → Preferred GPU: NVIDIA) helps re-enable performance scaling.
Quick Test
Plug in your charger.
Set Windows power plan to Best Performance (battery icon → slide to max).
Open OMEN Hub again.
If Performance mode still doesn’t show, then it’s likely tied to missing drivers or firmware.
Do you want me to grab the exact driver/utility links for your HP Victus 15 (15-edu2002TU or 15-faXXX depending on submodel) so you can reinstall the right ones that control OMEN performance modes?
