Laptop: HP Omen 16-ap0175ng.
Problem when using a Bluetooth speaker:
After some short time the speaker simply stops playing. In Bluetooth settings it still shows as active, but constantly switches connected-disconnected-connected-disconnected…
Previously everything worked stable and fine, but the speaker was the only Bluetooth device I used with the laptop.
The problem appeared after connecting a Bluetooth mouse. I wasn’t sure the laptop supports simultaneous work with both a speaker and a mouse over Bluetooth, so I removed the speaker from paired devices and connected the mouse. At some moment the mouse just stopped working and the Bluetooth adapter disappeared from the system completely, as if it was hardware-disabled, although I didn’t disable it. Reboot fixed it.
Then I connected the speaker again — everything OK. Just in case I connected the mouse via USB dongle and removed its pairing. The speaker became the only Bluetooth device in the system.
However after some time the speaker again stops playing. I reset the speaker and removed pairing on the laptop. Reconnected — worked perfectly for one evening. Next evening sound disappears again. The speaker cannot reconnect. Turning Bluetooth off helps only for a few minutes — then it works for several minutes and disconnects again.
All updates are installed, drivers are up to date.
Looks like a software issue.
Any ideas how to fix this?
