After formatting my computer, HP Support Assistant cannot find any updates. The reason for this seems to be that my Windows version is 24H2, while the maximum version shown for driver updates in HP Support Assistant is 22H2. Due to this incompatibility, I am unable to install the necessary drivers for my devices. For example, the sound from my headset’s microphone is very low because the appropriate driver cannot be installed.

I would greatly appreciate any support or guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Hi @CenkEryılmaz

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

In this case, we have to reload the Windows from the scratch.

First, we need to download the Windows image onto a 32GB or 64GB USB flash drive (Flash drive only, memory cards, USB hard drives are not supported, It has to be 32GB or 64B only)

You can download the Windows image thru 'HP Cloud Recovery App' which can be downloaded from the Windows store.

Refer to the Step:2 on the link below:

And follow Step:4 to reload the Windows from the newly created USB recovery media.

Hello, today I reinstalled Windows from scratch and even downgraded to version 23H2 (I thought the issue might be due to this). However, HP Support Assistant isn't receiving any updates; it keeps saying my system is up to date, but I know my drivers aren't current. When I try to manually download drivers from the HP website, I get an error stating that the driver couldn't be installed. Also, when I checked the Realtek driver, it shows that the 2024 version is available, and when I select it, it says to restart the computer. After restarting, it still uses the 2017 version, meaning it doesn't update to the 2024 version.

Hi @CenkEryılmaz

If you have an HP laptop and it was pre-configured with HP recovery tools, you may be able to use the HP Recovery Manager to restore your system to a fully functional state with all the proper drivers and updates.

You may also try recovery from HP cloud recovery tool: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_4511095-4511141-16

Once you do that, the OS will have all the pre-configured tools and drivers.

I hope this helps.
