Omen 15 en0002la
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey all, i've been trying for weeks to upgrade from the realtek wifi 5 card that came with my omen to wifi 6.

Prior to installation i've uninstalled the driver and removed it from device manager. I'm on the latest bios.

I tried installing The intel ax210 Wifi 6E and intel ax200 non vpro wifi 6.

Both times bluetooth worked without a hitch, but i can't for the life of me activate wifi. Wifi adapter doesn't show up in device manager.

I've installed the latest intel drivers, tried installing through legacy hardware In device manager and still nothing.

Please help!!

Hi@Covtops, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Apologies for all the inconvenience! As per the spec, it's compatible,I understand it's not detecting the WIFI card.

Request you to follow the below troubleshooting steps that should fix the issue.

  1. Update the BIOS
  1. Intel® Driver & Support Assistant  the Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics, drivers

Unfortunately, i have already tried what you suggested. But only blue tooth works.

It's very odd because when i check In the hp diagnostic program, it says wireless lan adapter is detected. But it doesnt show in device manager.

Also is not detected on linux.

These wifi 6 cards are known working cards because i have tried them In other systems.

Hi@Covtops,

May i know the WIFI card manufacture.

Check in the devices manager under hidden devices.
