I was wondering if i can upgrade my Intel i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz, 2304 MHz chipset to an i7 and what model i7 would I need to purchase to fit this board? Basically how do I go about upgrading my processor? please help!! I have 12gb RAM and 2TB internal with an Nvidia GTX 1050 TI (GP107).

Most all HP laptops do not come with removable CPU's like desktop does. They are hard soldered into the motherboard.
It would not be worth the cost to have the motherboard replaced either.
If your laptop is not performing the way you need it to, You might consider selling it and putting that money towards a new upgraded system. Thats the best I can offer.
