Hello,
Do you know any program that will allow me to set my fans to maximum speed? Omen Gaming Hub haven't this option, Omen control doesn't work on this computer. In Omen Gaming Hub I have 3 function - default, comfort and performance. But there is no diffrence in game.

Omen Gaming Hub (or old Omen CC) had this feature but users did change too much for no good reason therefore HP removed this.
But like Comfort mode now, users are screaming and asking to put this back. I believe Developers are working on this to set a right parameter/boundary otherwise users would overdone the setup and no good at all.
Hope they can work out soon (more than one year already).
Regards.

I don't know why HP don't add button to fan max in omen gaming hub in this laptop. This simply step would solve the problem for many people. I found loads of topics on this subject and not only in this laptop model. When I bought the HP Omen I thought I was paying for a valuable product, but after some time of use I find it was not worth the money. Since HP can't handle the max fan button problem, I believe the matter is much bigger than we think and lies with the "factory defect". Therefore, they should return the money for the purchased equipment.

I also noticed something else interesting. I downloaded Notebook fan control. On one of the models, namely the HP Pavilion 17, the fan settings on my computer match. Thanks to this, they can be set to max. For the stress test, the processor runs at 100% and the temperature remains at 78-81 degrees Celsius. (fans are included at maximum in the above program). When I turn on the game, for example Watch Dogs 2 (also with fan control and fan max enabled), the processor runs at a maximum of 90% or less, and the processor temperature reaches 98 degrees Celsius. After my experience, it is not the fault of fans not turning at maximum turnover, because they are turning. Why are there lower temperatures with 100% CPU than with lower CPU usage when fans rotate the same?
