I suppose it might have something related to the cpu drivers. Just got a AMD driver update, I will update if that fixes any of the issue.

Works?

It semms to have fixed the issue in my case. Played 1hr csgo and 1hr GTA5 + 3 hr of other usage non stop. And worked fine.

Edit; It is still shutting down it self and is heating as before the driver update though it lasts longer

It would help if you gave better details as to what AMD driver you are referring to.

Did it come through Windows updates or somewhere else?

What is the driver exactly and version?

Thanks.

Any news after update?

HP Recommended

Very strange. I received an old AMD driver for June 15.

Don't really remember which driver it was specifically but it was like AMD xxxxxxxxxxx - Security xxx. And it doesn't show up in Updates history. I got it from windows update (in settings).

I can't find any updates for my machine via Windows Update, maybe they didn't release it for everyone yet.
