OMEN MAX 16 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-ah0000 (A4NN9AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I bought a new Omen laptop and I really liked how the demo model was set up with the "underglow" lighting up with every individual keypress. I have attempted to set up my laptop in this same manner however I have been unable to do so. I attempted to contact support to help with this and they referred me to a paid service.

How do I set up my laptop RGB and "underglow" to perform like the demo laptop at the store? Also I went back to the store to try and find out it's settings however was locked of viewing the settings as it's a demo model.

Hi @red7876t87,

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Open OMEN Gaming Hub:

  • Launch OMEN Gaming Hub from the Start menu or taskbar.

Navigate to Lighting Options:

  • Within OMEN Gaming Hub, go to the "Devices" section.
  • Select "OMEN Keyboard" from the list of connected devices.

Customize Keyboard Lighting:

  • Click on the "Lighting" tab to access RGB customization options.
  • You can choose from various effects like "Breathing," "Wave," or "Ripple" to respond to keypresses.
  • For individual keypress responses, select effects such as "Ripple" or "Reactive."

Configure Underglow Lighting:

  • Navigate to the "Underglow" section if available for your OMEN laptop model.
  • Customize the underglow lighting effect to respond to keypresses.
  • You may choose synchronized effects for an immersive experience.

Save and Apply Settings:

  • After selecting your preferred lighting effects, make sure to save the settings.
  • Apply the changes and test to see if the lighting responds to your keypresses.

I hope this helps.
