HP only has the service manual for the older model series on your notebook's support page.

 

HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2000 - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support

 

According to chapter 1 of that manual, your notebook has two memory slots and can support 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

The Crucial memory report for the model series indicates that it will support 2 x 32 GB of memory.
