Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d1 (53F53AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My victus 16 started putting out random chime noise, it's like a warning or notification. It's doesn't match with any of the system sound

Greetings @Edchinyosh

Welcome to the HP Forum.

When is this happening?

BIOS error beep codes normally happen when you power on the PC.

Sounds like a Windows notification if this happens while you are working within Windows.

It could be a USB device event or a random graphics driver event.

Check Windows Event Viewer or look at Reliability history in Security and Maintenance for clues.

It started happening yesterday, it's beep with chime randomly when the laptop is on.

It's sound different from any windows notification, it's like a error sound then chime following it.

I had check event viewer and reliability history but can't find any fault

I don't know why this sound is happening.

Try turning off Notifications in: Settings>System.

Unfortunately it's not a notification sound either,

I had check it's not a virus, not laptop temp or anything, just random chime noise pop up randomly

I have never experienced unexplainable random sounds over 32 years of computing when working within Windows.

I have heard random USB connect and disconnect sounds. I have also heard graphics driver sounds when doing a graphics card driver update.

And you have confirmed it is not a Windows notification.

I don't know what's going on.

Thank for the help, I will bring it to a physical technician to have it check out
