Hlo, yesterday I bought the hp pavilion gaming.its touchpad making rattling noise.some one help me. It's really irritating .my 10 year laptop is way better than this laptop in term of touchpad.every time i drag my finger it make rattling noise even if i click on upper right end of pad a click noise I can listen from bottom left end of pad. If someone know how to resolve it please help. A lot of people are facing similar problem?

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Pavilion laptop touchpad making rattling noise.

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date. 
  • Also check if the noise is coming from the FAN or the touchpad.

NOTE: It is normal for the fans to spin loudly for five to twenty seconds when the computer initially turns on.
