Hi,

I've got the same model and basically the same story, spilled coke on one side of my keyboard. Could you help me find where to look for a replacement keyboard? It's still fully functional, but even after cleaning keys stick down and don't click.

My laptop's model number is 15-dc0051nr. Any help would be thoroughly appreciated. I don't want to make a new thread for this.

Hello @Kartoffee

Is that a 4-zone RGB keyboard or is it only red? The direct HP Specs dont show any information, yet a different search in the system shows that it is 4 zone.

Its part number is listed as L32775-001 and says it comes as the keyboard and top cover. But HP doenst make it available for purchase.

I did however find a third party parts seller that offers it as keyboard only.  If I were you, I would contact them and make sure it is the correct keyboard system first and how return policies work. If it is, it will be a lot cheaper than paying HP to fix it.

Hope it helps.

@Photoray002,

Yes, it is a 4 zone. Would red only not be compatible? I'm fine with either as long as it works like new.

Thanks for the help!

Good question.

I have not taken one of those apart to see how its connected. HP does not make a schematic available either.

I would pull yours first and study the connector. Take note of the pin count so you can compare to a new one. I would think the pin count for the main connector is the same for both types. But I don't know if there is a second connector for the RGB.

If the main connectors are the same,  I would think the red version would work.

Sorry I cant be more exact.
