@Incredabun what is the full product number of your Omen?
Press Control/Alt/S for the information menu to pop up
Or
Go to the Start menu and scroll to H/HP Help and Support/HP Support Assistant.
Open the program and click on your computer in the list.
The 7 digit Product Number will be listed in both those places.

OK thanks.
Your model number is OMEN by HP 17-cb0020nr.
Unfortunately your model didn't come with RGB. Its whats called Red Dragon 1 zone lighting. The lighting is only red and cannot be physically changed. That is why there is no option for lighting in the Game Hub.
What you saw on the compatibility list was that your series had compatible models, but not all of them will have the 4-zone keyboard installed.
Just to help with any misunderstanding of the chart, the Game Hub chart shows no compatibility also...

OK but the first image I posted from is a different source. Its showing you don't have RGB either. The image of your model on its products page also shows only a red keyboard.
Did you only get this model recently?

I'm guessing you're not going to take my word for it.
Here is the link to HP Support. You can discuss it with HP directly.
I am only a volunteer here. Good luck.

No I understand I just think it's crazy that I spend $2500 more than any self built machine and get a **bleep**ty laptop it had 8gbs of ram before that's just barley running Windows then I have to take it apart once a week to reconnect or fix the Bluetooth and WiFi card that constintaly disconnects and hp won't take it back so I've decided to dyi on it. Anyways any way to get the junk light studio off my pc it doesn't show up in the apps and programs nor is there a button in the omen hub thing either

My understanding of the 17-cb0020nr MSRP was approx $1400/1800. But still a lot of money to spend.
The Light Studio comes integrated with the Gaming Hub. But if you can uninstall it, you would have better success with Revo Uninstaller. https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo-uninstaller-free-download/
Just grab the free portable version to your desktop. It has a section for uninstalling Windows Apps. The Game Hub is listed there, so if the Light studio is able to uninstall separately, it will be listed there also.
What WiFi card is installed? You can find its model number in the Device Manager. It might be that model has a propensity to malfunction and a different card will work better.
