OMEN by HP - 17-an198ms
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I couldn't find the "Light Studio" option in the Omen Gaming Hub. Neither can I find it in the MS Store.
Is my device unsupported?

@binokary  I just spoke to another user who has your model and confirmed it did come with a 4 zone keyboard.

Here is the link to the Light Studio download if that helps. IF that doesnt help, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Game Hub?  Keep us updated.

Thank you so much for the link to Omen Light Studio. I installed and opened it. However, I can't see my laptop or anything on the Layout or Effects screen.

I don't see the link to Omen Light Studio in the LHS of Omen Gaming Hub. I tried uninstalling and installing it as well.

If I go to my device name (in Gaming Hub), Lighting tab, I can see:

"The lighting for this device is currently controlled by OMEN Light Studio…"

Also, I can't see Light Studio Helper in the Task Scheduler.
I have the latest BIOS: AMI F.15, 11/2/2020

I tried resetting the Light Studio app, restarted my laptop. Is there something I could try?

OK, I'm not sure if its a certain file corrupted, something missing or a physical problem with your keyboard.

I would try this, just to be sure...

Uninstall the Game Hub and the System Event utility, Light Studio if its listed, with REVO Uninstaller. Its a free tool that will also scan for leftover files to delete. What ever it finds, just select "All" and delete them...

Grab the portable version here... https://www.revouninstaller.com/products/revo-uninstaller-free/

Run it and there will be a section for uninstalling Windows Apps. Go there and scroll down for them (Game Hub, Sys Event Util, Light Studio).

Then reinstall from these links (if it works, you shouldn't have to also install the Light Studio as it already comes with the Game Hub)...

Omen Fusion driver sp105943.exe

Get OMEN Gaming Hub - Microsoft Store

Get HP System Event Utility - Microsoft Store

OMEN Gaming Hub SDK Package sp113556.exe

Then manually force Windows updates to Check for Updates, even if it already shows its up to date currently.

Fingers crossed.

If it works, you're golden. If not, the only other thing I can offer would be a clean reinstall of Windows and then reinstall all the links above again. If that don't work, the keyboard would have to have a physical failure of some kind.

Thanks,
I tried your steps in the same order as you have suggested but sadly, it is still the same.
I had also emailed the OmenCC Feedback team with the problem and logs. Yesterday I received this message from them:

This product is not in OMEN Light Studio APP support scope, so cannot use Light Studio to set lighting effects.

Thanks for your support @Photoray002. Highly appreciated.

Well that doesnt sound right but OK. I know it has RGB so..... IDK.

Let me know if you have any luck in the future.

Unfortunately I cannot get answers about compatibility from HP. We are on our own here for info. I know HP changed a few things and took down the compatibility list for us. 😩
