Have you found a solution to the problem? A week ago, TPM was successfully enabled and displayed in windows.

No. I have retry many times. Under whatever F10 and F12 firmware, the TPM can not be recongnized by windows even the TPM is enable in UEFI config.

yes, I did the same thing and I have the same problem. And after what did this happen to you?

HP Recommended

I don't know what exactly helped me, but I did so and the tpm module appeared in the device manager.

1) created an installation flash drive with the current bios version
2) installed it from this flash drive
3) disconnected the battery
4)swapped the RAM dies
5) logged into windows
6) changed the RAM blocks back
7)the bios went in and activated the tpm module ( it was hidden)

after that, the tpm is displayed correctly in the device manager

has anyone else tried this solution? Is there a link on how to do the firmware to a flash drive? I am having the same issue.

This comes from HP website. I am not trying that yet. I am not sure reflash the UEFI can fix fTPM problem.

Actually I use flash tools to update the UEFI from the windows, but it does not work. I also change the RAM and disconnect the battery before due to the original 8GB RAM is not large enough. But no difference. The fTPM always shows enable in UEFI but nothing happen in windows.
