Hey there! @maris66, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Community!

Were there any physical damages on the Monitor?

Does the issue persist on the BIOS page?

Have you tried checking with an external monitor does the issue persist?

If the issue does not persist on the BIOS page try updating the graphics driver and BIOS on the PC.

Uninstall the graphics driver from device manager and install the latest version of BIOS and graphics driver using HP support assistant.

Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant. Click Here

Also, Try restoring the BIOS to default and check if it helps.

1.    Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
2.    Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
3.    On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
4.    Press F10 to Save and Exit.
5.    Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
6.    Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

If the display issue persists on the BIOS page. It is a hardware issue with the Monitor.

No there's no any mechanical scratches, or any signts on the screen. Its visible always, when I turn on the computer and it starting up (when you see a omen logo-starting up) ... always. And I try on external monitor and there I dont see anything, so its for a hundred% screen "dead pixels" or something like that

@maris66, It certainly sounds like a display issue with the laptop.

I have the exact same issue and I don't have warranty.. Did you find a solution? thanks!

I have the exact same issue. No external damage was done to the laptop but one time I turned it on and there is a red scratch mark discolouration on my screen. I only got the laptop last year and have had no problems with it until this. No idea what could have caused it, but I know that the laptop wasn't damaged externally. If multiple people are having the same issue there should be an explanation, right?
