Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d0000 (2V8U5AV)

20250418_170108.jpgHey guys i got a notification about battery Calliberation in HP Support Assisstant app. I did the memory extensive test until loop error till the battery discharged completely, then charged it completly. Still it shows primary battery needs to be calliberated but the battery health is fine but may reduce in Future. Then again i did battery caliberation but this time i did directly through battery Calliberation option through battery options in BIOS. Earlier i also did from BIOS but  through Memory Extensive test. Still it shows battery Calliberation Error. Can Anyone suggest me why is it so. I bought my Laptop on September 2022. Its not that much old i think. Model no. Hp Victus d0354TX

@Sid5678, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to deal with persistent battery calibration errors despite following the recommended steps. Here are a few potential reasons and solutions for your issue:

Software Glitch: Sometimes, the HP Support Assistant might have a bug causing repeated calibration errors. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Support Assistant.

Battery Health: Even if the battery health appears fine, there might be underlying issues. Running a detailed battery report using the command powercfg /batteryreport in Command Prompt can provide more insights.

BIOS Update: Ensure your BIOS is up to date. Sometimes, outdated BIOS can cause calibration issues.

Manual Calibration: Follow these steps for manual calibration:

  • Charge the battery to 100%.
  • Disconnect the charger and let the battery drain completely.
  • Recharge the battery to 100% without interruption.
