I've just got this laptop and want to upgrade the ssd in it. I've undone the screws as advised in the manual. Losening screw labeled 1 then removing the screws labelled 2. However I'm unsure how to take the back plate aftewards. It says use a 'case utlity tool' to remove the back panel. What is a case utility tool?
Even with the screws off the back panel seems locked to the main laptop. I tried using a very thin piece of plastic and this did nothing to loosen it. I don't want to use a screwdrvier as that would damage the plastic. Is there a video anywhere detialing how to remove the back cover?
Thanks

Just to confirm before I give it a go - do you remove all the screws or leave two in loosened as stated in the manual :-
Remove the base enclosure:
(1)Loosen but do not remove the two screws from the bottom cover screws.
(2)Remove the remaining eight Phillips from the bottom cover.
Using a case utility tool, gently separate the bottom cover from the enclosure
(1) Remove the bottom cover
(2) Reverse the removal procedures to install the base enclosure.
