I am just looking to upgrade the display on the laptop I purchased earlier this year. Overall very satisfied with the laptop as a whole but the display definitely needs some improvement. I believe it is a 2017 model of the HP Omen 15.6 laptop. I looked in the support assistant and it listed the product name as Omen by HP laptop 15-ce0xx. I have searched around the internet on my own and don't feel confident that I am finding the correct display to fit all the dimensions and connector type. I am primarily looking to just upgrade to something like a 120hz that has better color and lighting. I should have just selected the model with the upgraded display at the time of purchase but was hoping the 60hz 1080p would be sufficient. I had already selected the upgraded hard drive+ssd combo and the 1050ti, and now regret not going in all the way with the 120hz 1080p model. I don't need 4k or anything like that just something that will help with my currently lacking display quality. Any help on locating a suitable replacement display would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! @Jhammer739, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! 

 

I understand you would like to upgrade the display panel to 120Hz display.

 

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

 

As you are using a laptop the display assembly is not a customer replaceable part. Replacing the part will void the warranty on your laptop. 

 

Upgrading the is not a viable option as the display panel would cost as much as a new laptop.

 

However, I checked the specifications of your laptop. And I was unable to find any upgrade for the display raw panel.
