Hello,

The right fan (cpu) is very noisy as it is not axed properly and I need to change it.

I have been asking the retailer of parts for hp in France and after a week they said that they couldn't provide the part.

I have seen few fan online and with the guide provided by hp support on YouTube it seems easy to change.

How to be sure that I buy the right fan for this laptop? And where if anyone knows please.

Thanks,

Well, looks like you have to replace BOTH because only one part for two fans. Please check the specs of your machine which is

to select the right part # on the list of the following manual/guide (page 44)

@Banhien

Thank you

I thought as well that I would have to replace the entire "heatsink" but after watching this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfLNzIUSBHw

I believe that I can replace only the fan. I have called HP and they are asking 300€ to do it... Therefore I believe that I will do it myself but I just want to find the right fan to replace it.

UPDATE

After looking it is not the right laptop on the video.

The below one show the similar configuration. Do you think that I can only replace the CPU fan and not the entire heatsink?
