Hello,

I initially requested a refund through HP Live Support, but I received an email stating that a replacement would be sent instead. However, my original request was for a refund, and I would prefer that option.

Unfortunately, I’m currently unable to reconnect with HP Live Support, so I’m reaching out here for assistance.

Could you please help me with changing the replacement to a refund?
I’d be happy to provide any necessary information if needed.

I am unable to get in touch with the team I previously contacted. The live support section on the site has been removed, as shown in the screenshot I’ve attached, and the only place I can reach support is here. I would really appreciate your help.

We’ve reviewed the case notes and consulted with the team regarding the case ID you provided. As initially requested, a replacement was offered to you. There are no notes indicating a request for a refund.

 

I’ve also checked the case, and I couldn’t find any information about a refund request. Since community support has limitations, I recommend reaching out to the regional support team directly, as it’s clearly stated that a replacement has been processed as per your request.

As I mentioned before, I am unable to contact regional support. This forum is the only place where I’ve been able to reach the support team, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any real help so far. I would like to request a refund for the product. I kindly ask that this issue be addressed and resolved as soon as possible. I would really appreciate your assistance with this.

I’ve been trying to return this device for about a month, and still, no progress has been made. The product is sitting aside, and I’m no longer willing to accept this situation. If you're not going to process the return, please stop wasting my time. I expect you to send the return receipt via email immediately.

Additionally, everyone reading this forum will notice how bad HP's support team is. The only way to contact you on your support page is through this forum, yet we’re receiving no help. To top it off, you sarcastically suggest that I contact live support! There is no live support section on your website!

From your message, it looks like the system processed your request as a replacement even though you initially asked for a refund. This sometimes happens if the default workflow for that product is set to replacement. What usually works is to follow up again with support and clearly mention that you would only like a refund. If you already have a case ID or reference number, make sure to mention that so the process is quicker.

Also, keep a copy of the original email where you requested the refund , sharing that back often helps the support team understand the situation better. Once they have this confirmation, they should be able to switch your case from replacement to refund without much issue.

Thank you for your suggestion. However, my main issue is that I cannot get in touch with the support team. I keep being told to “contact support,” but it’s not possible to reach them from Turkey. Apart from posting here on the forum, I have no other way to communicate, and unfortunately, I’m not getting any resolution here either.

If the support team here truly wants to help, I need to receive a clear and official email confirming that my refund has been approved. Otherwise, this process will not move forward.
