I purchased an HP Victus laptop in March 2024, and unfortunately, the right hinge has broken recently. The laptop has been used carefully and never dropped or mishandled.
The issue seems to be a build quality or design fault, as I’ve noticed similar complaints from other HP users regarding hinge failures. What’s more frustrating is that my warranty expired just two months ago, and this issue appeared shortly after that.
I would like to ask if HP offers any support or goodwill repair options in such cases, especially for problems that may be related to hardware design. I really like this laptop otherwise, and it’s disappointing to face such a critical issue so soon after the warranty period.
Any guidance on how to proceed or whom to contact would be appreciated.

It is possible you might get it repaired under warranty. Has happened before.
How to contact an HP agent:
Sign in to your support page
Select the product you need help with and scroll down to support options.
Select "Contact us". You can change country and language if necessary.
In the mean time try to prevent the other hinge from breaking
