Product: Omen 15-dc0051nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just purchased an omen as a gift. Trying to set it up, I noticed when I right click on the desktop the circle "working" cursor appears and it takes 3-5 minutes for the menu to appear.

 

As reference my Acer with the same specs does NOT have this issue, so this is clearly an HP issue.

 

Are there any solutions?

When was the laptop purchased and how long have you had it powered on???

The laptop was puchased less than 12 hours before submitting the question.

 

After following the instructions on a previous thread, I scanned the system for corruption. System was corrupt. Fixed following the instructions, problem persisted, scanned again and the system was still corrupt. To me this indicates a bad SSD or controller (motherboard). I returned it.
