OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000i (1S3R9AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, eveyone!

My HP Omen GT13-1001ur with 886c motherboard can see my new 4 Tb SSD m.2 after its physical installation in the PC but stops recognizing it a few seconds later. The second 1Tb SSD with Windows is always seen. I've tried to swap drives, to retain only 4 Tb SSD and BIOS update but nothing helps, 4 Tb is not recognized even by BIOS.

Specs say the PC has Two M.2 socket 3, key M (one for SSD card PCIe x4 Gen 3) among expansion slots.  New SSD Kingston FURY Renegade [SFYRD/4000G] has PCI-E 4.0 x4 with key M so they should be compatible.

How to recognize new 4 Tb SSD?

Help, please!

My suggestion format 4TB as GPT and try again. The following Guide shows you how
