Hi @Sammy44449
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand you are seeing a notification indicating that the Secure Boot certificate update has not yet been applied on your OMEN laptop, even after trying the PowerShell method. Let me check and help look into this further.
To better assist you, could you kindly share the following details?
- Your current Windows version and build number (Settings > System > About)
- Have you already updated to the latest BIOS version available through HP Support Assistant or the HP support website?
- Is Secure Boot currently enabled in the BIOS?
In the meantime, kindly try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Verify BIOS Version
- Restart the notebook and press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS Setup.
- Confirm the BIOS version is F.23 or check whether a newer BIOS version is available for your model.
- Load BIOS Defaults
- In BIOS Setup, select Restore Defaults or Load Setup Defaults.
- Save changes and restart the system.
- Check Secure Boot Status
- Enter BIOS Setup again.
- Navigate to Security or Boot Options.
- Confirm that Secure Boot is enabled.
- Save and exit.
- Run Windows Update
- Open Settings - Windows Update.
- Install all available updates, including optional firmware updates.
- Restart the notebook several times after the updates complete.
- Perform a Hardware Diagnostics Check
- Power off the notebook.
- Turn it on and immediately tap F2 repeatedly.
- Run the System Tests to ensure there are no firmware or hardware-related issues affecting the update process.
