Don't listen to them.

The thing is it is the windows kernel that is hibernating the PC but BIOS is providing the kernel with false CPU temperature.

Windows is not at fault here.

You said it yourself. They are ignoring or they are working on it and clearly they don't find it useful to tell their restless community. That's why they have shut down the biggest thread here.

Automatic shutting down while gaming !!!

Hello,

so i bought my laptop that is  HP pavilion gaming 15 EC 0101 ax a month back before the bios update the games where working just fine but now after the bios update while gaming I experience shutting down after 15 to 20 mins. there is no heat on my laptop.

After experiencing this i contacted the customer care they did several troubleshooting for a while THAT IS - 15 days approximately and still got nothing

They did the hard drive test to weather there is a hardware problem but there was none, till date my laptop has been reset 3-4 times i am fed up and lost my patience, I don't know what to do!!!
After trying every thing they say that it is due to the new windows update not because of the bios update, i even had a chat with the Microsoft team they said our update has showed no such problem I don't know where to go now

please reply to me as soon as possible !

I`ve got reponse from Support:

they know that there si problem with new version of Bios. In this update are errors that couse computer overheating. They propose to tray downgrade my computer, but not every laptop let it to do. In other case they propose to send laptop to service or waiting -_-.

It cannot be the 2004 update per say as i still have the 1909 update when my laptop started crashing. But after the bios roll back it seems to be working fine. Although since lately my fan noise has become louder than before which isnt a big deal and it did shutdown once unknowingly. Other than that the laptop is working fine. I have asked HP as well several times and their solutions didnt work i have to the service center and they couldn't find a problem either.
