If 2nd slot is available than which Gen SSD does it support?

Gen 3 or Gen 4?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

 

According to chapter 1 there is only one M.2 SSD slot that supports PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD's.

 

If you look at chapter 5 of the manual for the SSD removal and replacement procedure, they only show one drive.
