Hello,
I recently updated my laptop’s BIOS to version F.25, hoping it would introduce a battery protection feature that allows limiting the charge to a certain percentage (like 80%) to extend battery life. I saw a "Battery Protection" setting, but it doesn't seem to control charge limits. Does anyone know what this setting actually does? Are there any plans to implement manual charge limit control in future BIOS or software updates?

Hi, Angela:
Only some HP business class notebooks such as an EliteBook support the battery charge limiting feature.
If you do not have a HP business class notebook, then that feature is not supported.
