Hello !


I’m a senior developer and long-time HP user from Tunisia. I wanted to share my experience and seek some advice. Back in 2021, I bought an HP Pavilion Gaming 15 with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, and it’s been one of the best laptops I’ve ever owned, great for both my work and gaming. It’s been a reliable companion, and I’ve always appreciated HP’s quality, which is why I’d like to stick with the brand.

Now, my Pavilion is nearing the end of its life (and I’m not even its current owner anymore), so I’ve been searching for a replacement. I’m looking for something similar or better: an HP laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 CPU and a 144Hz display, which I need for smooth use and to avoid flickering. However, I’ve hit a wall. In Tunisia, the available models like the Victus 15 with Ryzen CPUs only seem to come with 60Hz screens, not 144Hz. I’ve checked with local stores, and they say these configs haven’t been available for a while.


This has been really frustrating. I feel like HP might be overlooking my country, when it comes to offering the same options I see in other markets, like the Victus 16 with Ryzen 7 and 144Hz displays. I’d love for HP to know about this issue—loyal customers here deserve access to these specs too!

 

So, I have two questions:

1. Does HP have plans to bring laptops with powerful AMD Ryzen CPUs and 144Hz displays to Tunisia ?!
2. If not, where can I find a model like this in this country ? Are there options to order directly from HP or a trusted source that ships here ?
