Hi @Abhinav16839,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding PC!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
let’s get your OMEN by HP 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop running smooth and quiet again. Since there’s no overheating, it’s likely just dust buildup in the fan. Here’s what you can do:
Try a Simple Fix First (Blast the Dust Out)
- Turn off your laptop and unplug it.
- Get a can of compressed air (or use a blower on low power).
- Aim it at the fan vents (sides & bottom) and blast short bursts of air to clear the dust.
- Tilt the laptop slightly while doing this to dislodge more dust.
Important: Don't use a vacuum, it can create static and damage components.
Adjust Fan Speed (If It’s Spinning Too Loud)
- Install HP OMEN Gaming Hub (if not installed).
- Open it and go to "Performance Control".
- Adjust fan settings to Auto or Balanced Mode to reduce noise.
Update BIOS & Drivers (If Fan is Running Unnecessarily)
- Go to HP Support and enter your laptop model.
- Download and install the latest BIOS update and thermal management drivers.
