HP's OMEN is an absolute nightmare! I bought this laptop in China, for a whopping 1.5k USD. And what do I get? A malfunctioning laptop that couldn't even survive half a year of use after I went to the States for college! So, I turned to HP's supposedly "global" service, only to be met with endless delays and excuses. Two months of waiting, and my laptop is still sitting there, unrepaired. They keep pushing back the completion date like it's some kind of joke – from February 5th to March 8th, and now it's stretched to March 29th!
Their customer service? Don't even get me started! It's nothing but empty apologies and brushing me off, with zero actual progress. And the audacity to blame it on my laptop being from China? Seriously? So much for their global service – it's all just for show! Are HP US and HP China different companies?
I wouldn't be surprised if racial discrimination played a part in this mess. HP in the US seems to have no qualms discriminating against products bought elsewhere, dragging their feet on repairs. And let's talk about their professionalism – a call from my case manager during class hours, then ghosting me when I try to reach them later? Five calls, three emails, and not a single reply? Do they even work past 3pm? HP's efficiency is a joke!
I sincerely hope my laptop will get fixed before this sorry excuse for a company goes under!

It has only been 4 months since I purchased the laptop that is currently having problems.
One week after purchase, the motherboard was defective, so I exchanged it for a new product, and not long ago, the motherboard was found to be defective again.
However, the service center says they cannot fix it. There are already no motherboards in Korea, and it is said that motherboards cannot be obtained worldwide.
After reading your post, I am wondering whether I should buy another laptop.

My laptop also has a motherboard issue, a common problem among various HP laptop models due to design flaws. It seems like this issue particularly affects Omen users. What's frustrating is HP's lack of accountability and failure to offer solutions or compensation for their errors. My advice is straightforward: exercise caution when considering HP laptops for purchase.
